Install iCMSUser Module

In your admin area go to "Extensions" and choose "Module Manager". Find module iCMSUser module and press "Download & Install". Module will be added to your installation of CMS Made Simple.

To start working with module you have to create 7 pages.

iCMS User required pages

Go to "Content"->"Pages" in admin panel and press "Add new content". Please verify that all pages you have created are not cachable. Put in each page as content the tag according to the table below:

Page Content
Login {cms_module module='iCMSUser' display='login'}
Registration {cms_module module='iCMSUser' display='register'}
Application error Add any message for the user to inform him that error occured.
Account activation {cms_module module='iCMSUser' display='activate'}
New activation mail
{cms_module module='iCMSUser' display='newactivate'}
Forgot Password
{cms_module module='iCMSUser' display='reminder'}
My Profile
{cms_module module='iCMSUser' display='change'}

After the pages are created go to admin panel of iCMSUser and choose "Admin Preferences". You have to give aliases of the created pages in tab "Redirection".

Redirection tab

CMSMailer

Check the settings of CMSMailer module. Send test mail from the module to be sure that settings are correct. iCMSUser module uses CMSMailer to send activation mails to the users and error mails to the administrator therefore it has to work properly. If you have difficulties to configure module please ask in the official CMS Made Simple board. CMSMailer is not the part of iCMSUser.

Admin user

Create admin user by registering on the site. Go to the just created register page. The admin user is the Front-End user who corresponds to admin users in all integrated applications (e.g. phpBB Admin). The nickname of this user is public and presented as username in board, gallery, chat or blog. The login is private and is not used anywhere on the site except login verification. Thus you have a higher level on security: if someone would like to guess your password he first has to guess your login which is not the same as nickname. You are going to use the same username, email and password while installing other applications. As stated above I use master as nickname and icmsadmin as login in this documentation.

Attention! Nickname should not have any special characters at this time and has to be written in small letters. You can easily change your nickname after the applications are installed.

Before you proceed please configure your iCMSMS Module properly.
